SHOW CO-CREATORS

Jennifer Edmond (Trinity College Dublin + ADAPT Research Centre) and Laura Allcorn (Artist + Performer + founder of Institute For Comedic Inquiry) met in a Science Gallery Dublin residency program that paired artists and researchers in 2021. This show is their second act! Their first was SKU-Market, an interactive mini-market about social profiling algorithms. It was part of Science Gallery Dublin’s BIAS: Built This Way exhibition in 2021-22.

They created this interactive quiz show to make it fun for audiences to explore how AI powered generative text applications (like ChatGPT) actually work. How does this technology shape our self expression, relationships, thinking, and language? What exactly does it mean to be human in an automated world?

Round after round, an absurd amount of comedic tension will rise as our contestants obsessively try to channel their inner algorithm to make sense of cringy writing suggestions made by AI in emails.
